New Silk Painters Meeting April 9 Saturday

It's another Silk Painters of Atlanta meeting, open to anyone interested in silk dye painting. We will be deciding on a design for our Georgia Chapter Goodwill Flags to be displayed at the next Silk Conference being held in October at Arrowmont, in Gatlinburg TN.

After a quick business meeting and a request for contributing $3 each for room rental fee, we will decide on the design for our 17"x17" silk flags.

I will bring Resistad and we will go ahead and apply resist to the silk. If we have time, we will dry and heat set the resist and start applying the dyes.

Please RSVP to me at if you will be attending so I will know how many supplies I need to bring. This will be a good opportunity for those who have never tried using resist or even painted on silk to experience this process. No experience necessary.
