Come see how Agnes works, and afterwards for those who are interested,
we will sit down and add dye to our "mandala" flags for the Silk
Painters International Festival conference in October at Arrowmont, in
Gatlinburg, TN. Newcomers are welcome to paint. No skills needed.

Meeting has been cancelled and will be re-scheduled.
We'll be finishing up these
colorful abstract square flags for the Silk Painter's International
Festival in October at Arrowmont in TN. Come help add colors to them and
watch the dyes flow on the silk!
It's another Silk Painters of Atlanta meeting, open to anyone interested
in silk dye painting. We will be deciding on a design for our Georgia
Chapter Goodwill Flags to be displayed at the next Silk Conference being
held in October at Arrowmont, in Gatlinburg TN. http://www.silkpainters.org/festival.php
After a quick business meeting and a request for contributing $3 each
for room rental fee, we will decide on the design for our 17"x17" silk
I will bring Resistad and we will go ahead and apply resist to the silk.
If we have time, we will dry and heat set the resist and start applying
Please RSVP to me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you will be attending so I
will know how many supplies I need to bring. This will be a good
opportunity for those who have never tried using resist or even painted
on silk to experience this process. No experience necessary. April 9th, Saturday
Bring a snack if you wish
